Weight Management services include a comprehensive medical history and physical examination conducted by one of our physicians, dietary education (group and individual), support group participation, individualized counseling by licensed medical social worker, and referal to our kinesiotherapist for an individualized exercise program. Beginning in early 2016, we will be offering dietary services via telemedicine. Motivated, compliant Veterans meeting specific criteria are referred for bariatric surgery. These patients are followed closely by our providers for a minimum of five years postoperatively.

Diabetes Clinic services offered include a comprehensive medical history and physical exam with attention to identifying complications relating to diabetes. Supportive services include dietary counseling and individualized diabetes education provided by the certified diabetes educator in our clinic. We offer continuous glucose sensor placement for those patients with hypoglycemia or have failed to achieve optimal glucose control despite intensive therapy. We also provide services for type 1 diabetic patients on insulin pmp therapy and/or a variety of continuous glucose sensors.

Additional services and procedures offered at the clinic:

  • weight management through lifestyle change or bariatric surgery
