Texas Rangers visit South Texas Veterans
Pitcher, Mike Adams, signs a Texas Rangers baseball hat for a South Texas Veteran.
A few members of the Major League Baseball team, the Texas Rangers, visited the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) recently.
Pitchers Mike Adams and Mark Hamburger, along with coach Dave Anderson and a few other Rangers staff took time to sign autographs and hand out Texas Rangers memorabilia to some Veteran inpatients during their recent visit. The smiles were contagious and the curiosity was high as they walked around some of the halls of the STVHCS.
Posing for photos, the Rangers were gracious and brought some cheer to the hospital. They brought their 2011 American League Championship trophy with them, sharing that victory with the Veterans. They also took a few minutes to visit our brand new, state of the art, Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center.
